All skill levels welcome! The professional photography instructor will be there to provide advice, feedback and tips on how to improve your photos and camera skills.

Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.

Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers!

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Bundaberg .

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

  • What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

    The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the class. Cindy was an excellent instructor who gave us the techniques to use and time to practice these. She was attentive to all in the class. It was a very informative but relaxed class. Would definitely recommend the class to others.

    Really good.Sin the instructor was excellent.She took the time with all of us and showed us how to use the different settings on each camera.Came away feeling really good and with a few good shots and more knowledge.I am looking forward to the next class.

    I really enjoyed the class and found it very helpful. Having a small class learning was very useful for myself, as when any of us were 'lost', Cindy was able to step in and assist without any lengthy waits. I haven't had a chance to play with what I have learnt yet, but I am hoping to do so this weekend.

    The photo was shot with a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone. It was shot at an altitude of 105 metres at 6:45 am on June 13, 2023. Aperture is 1.7, exposure time 1/2000 second, ISO 100 and metering mode was "Average". I added a little contrast and saturation using digiKam.I love shooting foggy sunrises because the whole landscape is softened by the fog and bathed in a beautiful orange glow.     I am a novice photographer with a love of nature photography. I took this photo on a very bright Saturday morning on 22 March at around 11am at our beautiful Botanic Gardens in Bundaberg North during the street photography course run by Cindy from Bundaberg Photography Group.     This was a picture taken with my drone at sunrise last April. The significance for me was to capture the Liverbird that sits at the top of the Royal Liverbird Building . Being a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter the Liverbird sits proudly on the club badge so saw this as an opportunity to capture it overlooking the city at sunrise.

    I was walking around the rocks at sunset, enjoying the clouds, and thinking I had better get to shelter as that rain burst was heading my way.
